The difference a year makes

Introducing our 2021-2022 Impact Report

People know jack & annie’s for creating delicious food made from real plants, but we’re
committed to doing more. From individual bodies to global communities, jack & annie’s is on a
mission to create a BIG, positive impact.

Our 2021-2022 Impact Report outlines how we’re tracking toward our goals for improving the
health of our customers, the health of our planet, and the livelihoods of our farmers.

“We have always known that our environmental impact is strong,” says Annie Ryu, our founder
and CEO. “Jackfruit is one of the most sustainable crops, and we continue to partner with our
farmers on regenerative practices. This past year, we took it one step further, performing our
first LCA (Life Cycle Assessment).”

A Life Cycle Assessment analyzes the potential environmental impacts of products during their
entire life. And we’re thrilled to report jack’s positive impact compared to other meat options:

On our journey to create a more sustainable food system, we’re also big supporters of small
farms. This impact report was the perfect opportunity for us to shine a spotlight on the
incredible farmers in India that we’re so lucky to do business with.

Our impact doesn’t stop there. To learn more about what we’re doing to make the world a
better place through delicious, real-plant foods, download the full report.
